01 Jun Wedding at The Prado in Balboa Park
Amy and Joseph’s wedding at The Prado in Balboa Park was beautiful and lots of fun. It was drizzling for their short ceremony, but no problem with a few umbrellas! After the ceremony, we went up to the stunning Loggia Room for cocktails and reception. This is a fantastic room for smaller intimate weddings.
After cocktails, they did the grand entrance then a nice choreographed first dance to Kevin Spacey’s cover of “Beyond The Sea.”

After a lovely dinner, it was time to dance! Amy and Joseph started off the dancing with another dance to Kevin Spacey’s cover of “Mack The Knife” then had all the couples join them after a minute. Once the dancing started it lasted until the last song. Their families really enjoyed dancing and I had requested ranging from the 60’s to todays latest hits. They’re a great group of people and it was a really fun celebration!
Amy and Joseph are really friendly and happy people. I’m so happy I was able to celebrate with them and I wish them all the best. Here’s an awesome five star WeddingWire review they gave me afterward as well!
I chose Will as our DJ for our wedding and couldn’t be happier. After meeting with Will I knew the search was over and we found our DJ. He was very professional, experienced, helpful, and you can just tell he knows what he is doing. His website made it extremely easy to put together our song lists.
On our wedding day he played all of the songs we had discussed. We were very happy how all of our guests were out on the dance floor, despite the range of ages. He was able to read the crowd and feel out what they wanted to dance to. I received so many compliments from my guests about how much fun they had dancing.
My husband and I are extremely glad we had Will as our DJ. Music is so important at a wedding and he does an amazing job. If you want to be relaxed and have one less worry planning your wedding, he is your guy. I would recommend him to any of my friends planning weddings if they want it to be perfect and memorable!
