14 Apr Spring Wedding at Tower Beach Club
Carlos and Min had a beautiful spring wedding at Tower Beach Club. It was an Indian and Western wedding, and going into the ceremony they had a Baraat, which was a lot of fun and had great energy! We used a portable speaker to move seamlessly for the dancing processional involved in the Baraat!
Carlos and Min’s ceremony started with the Indian portion and then moved into the Western portion. After the ceremony they took pictures during cocktail hour while guests enjoyed the terrific view! Our main DJ setup was waterfront on the deck, and the weather on Mission Bay was beautiful.
Carlos and Min had a guest MC who handled announcements, and we took care of the music portion and made sure everything moved along smoothly throughout the night.
The couple had a fun upbeat grand entrance which went right into their first dance. They followed with the father/daughter dance to “Wildflower” by Tom Petty and the mother/son dance to “In My Life” by the Beatles. Then there was a surprise dance for the newlyweds by some of the wedding party and friends.
Guests enjoyed 45 minutes of open dancing before dinner where we played a lot of Indian music and included some American/Western music as well!
After dinner came the toasts, followed by the cake cutting. We then got into the open dancing part where they had requested more of the American music. So we had a smaller portion of Indian music and then more American/Western-style music that we incorporated throughout the evening. The dance floor was packed the whole night and it was a real blast!
We also provided uplights in the amber color which accented the venue nicely!
Later in the night we had the couple’s staged grand exit to “Feel So Close” by Calvin Harris. The newlyweds ended the night with “Take Me Home Country Road” by John Denver.

We hired DJ Will of Dancing DJ Productions for our wedding, and he was outstanding! He handled ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, everything. We had an Indian fusion wedding and had a lot of obscure song requests for him, and he found them all without issue. He’s a true professional who takes the craft seriously. His transitions during dancing were awesome! Also, his pricing is very competitive. I don’t plan on having another wedding but if I did, I’d hire DJ Will again in a heartbeat!
