07 May San Diego Safari Park April Wedding
We were so excited to help Holly and Michael celebrate their marriage during their San Diego Safari Park April Wedding! The couple splurged on one of our luxury packages! They went for a large DJ setup all in white, upgraded speakers, amber and blue uplights, washlight trees, and dance lighting. As a special touch, they projected a monogram with their names and date on the dance floor!
They hosted their reception at the Kijamii Overlook, an amazingly cool spot with views of giraffes and rhinos!
The reception started off with cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres, and DJ Will helped set the tone with great music selections that included “Africa” by Toto and “Beautiful Day” by U2. Afterward, all the guests were treated to an animal encounter which continued the festive mood!
Holly and Michael made their grand entrance to “Runaway” by Galantis. They spent a tender moment in their first dance to Coldplay’s “Lovers in Japan”. One of their bridesmaids added to the memories by singing a great version of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Another fun part of the evening included the parent dances. And everyone enjoyed the anniversary dance, where the longest-married couple received a bouquet! We also had our open air photo booth with a hedge-style backdrop. The guests had fun taking pictures and signing the scrapbook throughout the night!
Everyone got out on the dance floor after dinner! DJ Will got the party going with wedding classics like ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” and “September” by Earth Wind and Fire and kept the energy up with rock singalongs. He added a great EDM set the groom requested which included tracks from Gorgon City, DJ Tiesto, deadmau5, and Kaskade. Guests really felt the energy, and the dance floor was full the whole time!
Everyone had a great night at this San Diego Safari Park April wedding! The stunning location, the beautiful reception setup and the great mix of songs made Holly and Michael’s night a wonderful experience! They were so happy to have shared it with friends and family!
