13 Aug Rock n Roll Marathon 2022
We recently had the pleasure of DJing for the Rock n Roll Marathon 2022! It was such a fun experience and we had five DJs from our company out to rock the race. Out along the course we had DJ Bryce, DJ Mitch, DJ Mark, DJ Sammy, and DJ Will. We were positioned about a quarter mile apart along the uphill stretch of SR-163, just south of the I-8. Where the runners had to run up the hill from the I-8 around Washington Ave.
Our DJs were out there to provide music and good vibes as well as to help encourage the runners get up the hill. Some of our DJs also were MCing to help keep the runners motivated to get up to the top. All the DJs were playing different styles of music to help the runners along and some of the popular tracks we played were “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey and “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi. We also played some other fun and upbeat tracks to help keep the runners energy up.
Once the runners made it to the top of the hill there was a bell for them to ring to celebrate making it to the top of the hill which is close to the end of the marathon. There was about 22,000 participants in the race, so it was super exciting to be able to DJ for this race!
