10 Nov October Wedding at San Diego Mission Bay Resort
Michael and Maggie are such cool people! I had a great time DJing their October wedding at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort. Their wedding ceremony was on the property, and they used a string trio for ceremony and cocktail music. Once the guests came over to the Terrazza Room for the reception, my job began!

For the grand entrance, Michael and Maggie walked in to “Happy” by Pharrell. Michael also chose to wear Pharrell’s ranger hat (a hat Pharrell made popular when he wore it at the Grammys) I don’t have a picture since I was announcing, but it was awesome! Then I played a mix of mellow oldies that Michael & Maggie wanted during dinner. After dinner, the three best men (yes, three best men) did an epic toast! They incorporated dancing and comedy into a hilarious toast routine. :)

After the toast, we did the first dance followed by the father and daughter and mother and son dances. Then I had all the couples take the floor to start of the evening with a slow dance. Then we moved up in tempo and the dance floor was hopping all the way through the last dance! Actually, the crowd was chanting, “One more song,” at the end … so I played an encore!

Things got crazy as the evening went on! Here Michael’s shirt has come off and he’s doing a dance to Usher’s “Yeah” with the Best Men!

The requested “Wobble” dance was a big hit later in the evening.
I enjoyed working their October Wedding at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort with the lovely ladies from Lavishweddings. They do a wonderful job as coordinators!

Our wedding was my absolutely amazing, and we attribute a lot of that to DJ Dancing Will. It was so important to us that our ceremony had a mix of old and new songs and that it also flowed nicely. DJ Will did an amazing job and the music was perfect.
It was also really important to us that our friends and family were on the dance floor, and with DJ Will playing the songs, they were indeed on the dance floor! Will played great music and when the wedding was over we did not want him to end. After the wedding, our family and friends raved about DJ Will and they were all very impressed.
It is rare that you find such a talented DJ and MC that is also extremely professional. Will was incredibly organized and efficient. He helped us plan the entire timeline for our wedding reception. We were clueless and he was very helpful!! He answered every single email almost immediately and kept in contact with me throughout the whole wedding planning process. He truly did a phenomenal job!!
I cannot recommend him more!
