16 Apr Kristina & Eric’s April Wedding at La Jolla Woman’s Club
We recently had the opportunity to DJ Kristina and Eric’s wedding at La Jolla Woman’s Club. This historic venue is a favorite of ours, and this event was no different. The festivities kicked off with a cocktail hour out on the club house’s north patio. This wedding had guests from all over the country, so San Diego’s temperate April weather was much appreciated by the out-of-state guests.
With cocktail hour winding down, the guests moved into the clubhouse for the rest of the reception. Energy was high for the grand entrance, and the guests kept it up all night. The couple had their first dance to their favorite Frank Sinatra song, and Kristina’s parents gave a wonderful welcome speech.
After everyone had finished dinner, we picked the energy back up with a rousing sing-a-long to “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond to get the guests pumped and ready for a night of fun and celebration. Kristina and Eric played the love shoe game, which was a big hit with the guests and was so much fun to host. It’s always a pleasure to get to participate in the merriment at weddings.
After the parent dances, the floor opened up to all, and it stayed full the entire night! All in all, this was a fun crowd and a fabulous couple. Congratulations, Kristina and Eric! We wish you the best in your new life together!
