28 Jul July Wedding at the Island Palms Hotel
Charles & Elizabeth’s wedding at the Island Palms Hotel was one big celebration! The bay views out of the windows were stunning before the sun went down. Once the sun went down, my dance lights came up and the party started. It was high energy all night from that point forward. Here’s a picture of me with this wonderful couple. Charles was in the Military so we had some classic traditions like a sword arch at the ceremony and they also cut their cake with a sward later in the night.
At the end of dinner, Elizabeth & Charles played the Love Shoe game. I asked a fun variety of questions and they were pretty accurate with their responses. Everyone really enjoyed it and learned a bit more about the couple as well!
The dance floor stayed packed the whole night and it was a real party atmosphere!
Elizabeth works at the YMCA so all her friends joined her on the floor to sing and dance along to “YMCA” by the Village People!
Charles and his Navy buddies serenaded Elizabeth to “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling” by the Righteous Brothers. It was such a fun garter removal!
They really liked classic songs so some of the highlights were:
“September” by Earth Wind and Fire
“Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry
“Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” by Michael Jackson
“Shout” by Otis Day
“Get Down On It” by Kool and the Gang
“Let’s Dance by David Bowie
“Twist and Shout” by The Beatles
“Holiday” by Madonna
“Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond
“Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey
“Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi
“Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Lepard
