09 Jun Claudia and Brandon’s May Wedding at Brick
At Dancing DJ Productions, we can provide services for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. We often get asked to do all three and sometimes even have a venue change during the day as well. This was the case with Claudia and Brandon’s May wedding at Brick! It started with a beautiful ceremony at Harbor Island Park and ended with one of the most fun parties we’ve DJ’d at Brick.
San Diego is known for its wonderful weather, and this day did not disappoint. Clear skies and wonderful views created a perfect backdrop for their ceremony. The wedding party danced down the aisle to “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake, and once the couple had been married, they all danced the recessional to “Candyman” by Zedd.
After the ceremony, everyone moved to Brick, a very on-trend venue located in Liberty Station. The market lights gave the space character so all that was added were our purple uplights to compliment the theme colors and sunflower centerpieces.
Claudia and Brandon chose to do a very elaborate grand entrance with a song for each member of the bridal party to get the guests pumped for the fun night to come. And after the meal, the energy was boosted further by the couple going around to each table and dancing with the guests, which we thought was a fun and unique way to work the room and visit all the guests.
Once all that was done, the dance floor was officially open. What a party it was! The dance floor was full the whole 4 hours of dancing! The bride’s side wanted Latin music, so we got to play some Reggaetón, Merengue, and Cumbias. The groom’s side was all about the EDM, so that was in the mix as well. The party wrapped up at 1 in the morning, but it could’ve easily gone longer than that with this crowd.
Thank you so much, Claudia and Brandon, for choosing us to help you make your special day memorable and fun. We had a blast celebrating with you and wish you the best in the next chapter of your journey together.
