I really enjoyed DJing for Michelle & Ryan last night! Their wedding at Handlery Hotel in San Diego was wonderful. I provided music for their cocktails and reception in the Garden Ballroom. I played a modern mix for cocktails, and then we did the grand entrance, first dance, father and daughter, and mother and son dances before dinner. After dinner, I played a mix of oldies, requested classics, and top-40s. It was a great wedding with a full dance floor the whole night!

After cake cutting, Ryan and the groomsmen said we needed to do the “Hokey Pokey!” I haven’t played that at a wedding in years, but I got everyone out there and it was a fun moment! I got Michelle’s approval first, of course. ;)
