13 Jun Safari Park Wedding in May
Joanne and Zach celebrated their Safari Park Wedding in May at the Kijamii Overlook. The beautiful spring weather along with the views made a perfect backdrop for a really fun event!
For the ceremony we had a fun start with Zach walking in to “Back in Black” by AC/DC, then the bridal party followed to “Kiss the Girl” by Logan Kendell. “Marry Me” by Megan Trainor played during Joanne’s walk down the aisle, adding the perfect touch!
The couple also had a Chinese tea ceremony, but chose to do no music for that.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to an animal encounter where Safari Park professionals showed different animals and gave information on them! We played “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” by The Tokens right before the encounter, which made for a fun moment as well!
Zach & Joanne are big sports fans, so they incorporated a variety of sports touches throughout the evening. For the grand entrance, the wedding party walked in to “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC. Then for a dramatic moment, the couple chose to walk in to the “Vegas Golden Knights” theme, incorporating another sports song. We did sports announcer style for MCing the entrance, making it super high energy, super fun, super upbeat!
Another fun sports nod was having team jerseys out for guests to sign by the guest book! Later in the evening, the bride and groom swapped the jerseys!
For the couple’s first dance, they had a really exceptional moment. They played a song actually written by Zach! It’s called “Days Go By,” and he had composed it for the bride early in their relationship. They chose a remix of it for their send-off later in the evening for a truly special touch!
Later, guests gathered for a group photo on the dance floor. Then the party began! The couple had a lot of really fun songs! They chose pop songs like “Party in the U.S.A.” by Miley Cyrus and “Die With a Smile” by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars, and some punk songs like selections from Blink-182. The groom even included “One Last Breath” by Creed as a witty addition!
Overall it was a wonderful evening and a lot of fun! Everyone had a great time for a definitely very memorable night!
