Hailing from Montana and San Diego, Kelsey and Alex long harbored a deep love for the outdoors, and what better way to tie the knot than against the gorgeous La Jolla backdrop? Hoping to incorporate their love of nature into their special day resulted in a breathtaking seaside celebration, this wedding was bold and dynamic and emphasized the timeless beauty of the Pacific Ocean. The stunning ceremony at Mary Star of the Sea was steeped in sophistication and the bridal party wowed in mauve and grey hues. Designed by Native Poppy, bride Kelsey opted for a bold and bright bouquet, blending cool and warm hues effortlessly and tying it all together with dainty greenery and daises. Adding a touch of spontaneity and fun to their special day, the entire bridal party stopped for ice cream at Scoops La Jolla before heading to the reception. Set at Martin Johnson House directly facing the dazzling ocean views, the reception was packed with energy and liveliness and featured chic decór including charming tabletop succulents. The rustic ambiance was picturesque and mouth-watering food displays, including an exquisite dessert bar by the Wild Thyme Co. tied the entire night together.
