Hey there! My name is Erin Cummings, and music has been huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Having DJ’d over 600 events at this point, I’m still just as passionate to bring the perfect music mix and energy to your event!
I grew up in Wisconsin and was exposed to all kinds of music from my parents taking me to shows and festivals when I was young. Summerfest was like a second home to me. I started playing guitar way back in elementary school, and that expanded my knowledge and understanding of music. I got my start DJing back in middle school after the DJ didn’t show up for a school dance. I took over and used the school’s equipment to DJ the dance. I was hooked!
As I progressed, I started DJing school dances, weddings, and private events while I was still in high school. After high school, I continued DJing everywhere I could and eventually landed a spot with 103.7 KISS FM in Milwaukee. I was on the air and produced various radio mix shows like Klub KISS and the 5 o’clock Traffic Jam which were syndicated on radio stations across the United States.
I eventually progressed to doing numerous events a week for a large variety of clients. I was on most preferred vendor lists at country clubs and event halls and had exclusive contracts with most private and public schools all over southeast Wisconsin. Bear Realty, Coleman Tool, Jockey Inc, Discover Card, and Kenosha Police and Fire Department were a few of my repeat corporate clients.
I moved to San Diego in 2019, and I love it here! When I’m not DJing, I love to play guitar, play in bands, record music and find any excuse to go to a concert or Magic Mountain. I help produce Milwaukee and San Diego Pride Fests, working closely with artists, management, and managing the main stages.
All these years of experience have really taught me how to read a crowd and provide non-stop entertainment along with managing the event. I am excited to share my history and knowledge of music and DJing with you at your event!
