Hey there!  My name is Eddie Vandiver (aka DJ Eddie V). I have over 15 years of experience and would be honored to be selected to DJ/MC your next event!

A little about myself. I was born and raised in San Diego, and I love it here! I have been involved in music and the performing arts since I was 10 years old and did an air bands show in 5th grade. I have been hooked ever since!

Whether it’s speaking in front of thousands, singing some of my favorites, or playing music and hosting the party, it is what I love to do. I have DJ & MC’d all over Southern California for all types of events including kids’ parties, weddings, corporate functions, and large-scale events with crowds of up to 10,000! I have also sung the National Anthem for many sporting events, including for the San Diego Padres and the San Diego Soccer.

One reason I got into DJ’ing in 2007 is because, in my opinion, the DJ can make or break your celebration. I wanted to be the person who was bringing joy and energy to your big day. Over time, I have mastered the ability to read the room and play the right kind of music that will get the most people on the dance floor.

My favorite types of music to listen to are alternative rock and old-school hip hop. I’m very proficient in all styles of music, and being a DJ has enabled me to stay up to date on current music as well. I always come prepared to play any song/genre of music requested! It’s your day. Let me help make it amazing!
