21 Dec Robyn and Mark’s November Wedding at Green Gables Wedding Estate
San Diego’s weather is perfect for weddings since you can have an outdoor wedding year-round. Robyn and Mark’s Green Gables Wedding Estate ceremony in November was a great example of this. Their marriage was performed at Green Gable’s gazebo, and both Robyn’s and Mark’s mothers gave readings, which was a wonderful touch. It’s always nice when family is involved with the ceremony.
After the newlyweds left the ceremony space to take photos, guests were ushered to the tented pavilion on site for cocktail hour and the reception. When photos were finished and guests were done mingling and visiting, the couple made their grand entrance to “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors.
Once the energy had settled a bit from the entrance, we slowed it down for Robyn and Mark’s first dance to “Never Stop” (Wedding Version) by SafetySuit. The intimate moment was followed up with some incredibly heartfelt toasts for the new couple. You could really feel the love from the guests for the newlyweds. After a break for the meal service, the traditional parent dances were held.
The dance floor at Green Gables Wedding Estate was the perfect size for everyone to come out and party. Between the playlist and requests, we mostly played oldies and classics, but the eclectic crowd enjoyed all types of music between the lulls in requests. The sing-a-longs were a favorite of the night, so we ended the party with a couple of those.
Thank you, Robyn and Mark, for including us on your big day! We wish you all the best in your future together.
