29 Jan El Cortez Don Room Wedding in downtown San Diego
I really enjoyed DJing at Aldrin and Rochelle’s El Cortez Don Room wedding in downtown San Diego. They are a super sweet couple and I loved being a part of their wedding. We had a beautiful ceremony outside on the courtyard at the El Cortez. Following the ceremony and cocktail hour, everyone moved inside to the stunning Don Room. I just love the eye-catching ceiling in this room.
After dinner, we had a fun grand entrance followed by the first dance and welcome. During dinner, I played some selections from the Disneyland wedding album since Aldrin and Rochelle are Disney fans. After dinner, we had toasts and the mother-son/father-daughter dances.
Then the dance party started. They are Filipino and their culture really loves line dances! They requested that we start with the “Macarena” and the “Electric Slide” and I helped lead everyone in the dancing. Following that the dance floor stayed full and energized!
The whole night was a great dance party. I played a lot of hits from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. We even had a slow dancing set to early 2000’s slow jams which went over really well.
I had a great time celebrating with Aldrin and Rochelle. They are an amazing couple and I wish them the best.

DJ Will was fantastic as the DJ for our wedding! When people were feeling a little shy to get on the dance floor, he didn’t hesitate to start dancing right beside the guests! He was on top of all of our music selections, and he checked in with us regularly throughout the event to make sure everything was to our liking. We had a few quirky requests, and he executed all of them perfectly. We would recommend DJ Will to anyone who would want the perfect DJ!
